Description: Electric yellow flowers that pierce through the landscape and can be seen right across the block. Yellow Doodle Dandy is distinct for it harmonious yellow appearance and extremely clear yellow colour. It has diminished or abselt red flares which are often seen in yellow Itohs, and it has yellow stigmas, for an appearance that screams and celebrates bright yellow - which to me is the brightest colour in the floral world. Petals are notched for a unique textural appearance. Different and very seldom offered. Strong, rigid stems hold the flower upright under all conditions, as expected of an intersectional peony. Side buds extend the blooming period.
