Description: Outstanding for a stunning flower display and sheer amount of bloom. Yankee Doodle Dandy is routinely blanketed with an incredible amount of flowers. Cream undertones that become more apparent as pigments bleach in the sun give flowers depth and dimension and provide plants with visual interest as the flower appears to have layers of deep cerise pink intermixed with antique pinks towards terminal flower stages. Strong, rigid stems hold the flower upright under all conditions, as expected of an intersectional peony, and attractive, deep green Itoh type foliage results in a good looking plant all season long. Many side buds extend the blooming period.
