Description: A voluptious, large, petal-packed double from the classic peony era of French lactiflora breeding. Flowers have an unusual flesh-coloured blush that is sometimes accented with green hues as the flower transitions from bud. The flower opening process is a captivating one, and can take a long time to complete - don't be cutting this one early, or even in marshmallow stage. It is not uncommon for flowers to present several "petal cups" at a location other than dead center of the flower. Stem strength and rigidity is not sufficient to hold flowers up under all conditions, so therefore this is best grown with support in the viewed landscape.
