Description: Say hello to some of the strongest peony stems in all of the peony world! Rozella is heavily lauded and celebrated for her rigid, erect, and straight stems that stand up defiantly in the face of any conditions that come her way. There’s no way the phenomenal, vibrant rose-pink flowers should be overlooked with their fantastic rose-double form. Petals are broad, relatively uniform and very well organized, and show some silver tipping as the blooms mature. The stout stems are dressed in excellent deep green, broad-leaved foliage and hold the flowers very close to the foliage. With ease of culture, great vigor, and heavy flowering, it is clear to see why Rozella was easily deserving of the Award of Landscape Merit that she was awarded. Rozella embodies the excellent landscape qualities we dream of seeing in all of our peonies. A superior plant that should be in everyone’s collection!
