Seed Surprise

Well, that was unexpected.

But perhaps it shouldn't have been, given that we experienced a bloom season that has given us flowers two to three weeks ahead of bloom seasons in the past.
Typically I see species seed no earlier than August, and lactiflora and hybrid seed ripens in September into October.
Guess it's time to get bagging those pods! Collecting seed before the chilly evenings approach will be a nice change.
