Description: Very clean and tidy flower appearance. Large single form flowers have magenta flaresat the base of the petals, which are the main attraction here, and which seem to distribute a pink shading to otherwise white petals. Flowers open up a delicate blush. This plant has cultivar has proven to be very vigourous and has grown rapidly for me. Stem are strong and self supporting. A nice alternative to the Saunders quadruple hyrbrids like Athena or Lady Gay (though this plant is said to have Saunders origins itself), with much nicer, broader foliage. Has an intersting history of coming into contact with some very important peony people.
