Description: Remarkably dark, decadent brown-red flowers exhibiting some of the darkest pigments in peonies. The darkest peony I grow. When stored in refrigeration, flowers appear near black. Yellow stamens provide a great contrast to the dark flower and are complimented by red filaments. Stems emerge red and foliage remains a dark and dramatic colour before finally turning green prior to flowering.
