Description: An absolute marvel of a plant, Bartzella defines what it means to have outstanding landscape qualities in a peony. Large, petal packed, electric yellow flowers up to 8 inches are carried effortlessly on stiff and rigid stems. Flowers can be seen clear across the block. Attractive, deep green Itoh-type foliage results in a good looking plant all season long. Side buds extend the blooming period. The flowers and plant habit speak for itself in the photos. Does not produce malformed flowers like some Itohs and increases quickly.
